Learn MoreWhat is FiCEP?
FiCEP, America’s Credit Unions’ Financial Counseling Certification self-study program, enables all credit union staff to become more confident in helping members build a stronger financial future. FiCEP is designed for credit union staff who work in the financial counseling, collections, and loan departments, or any other staff members who are committed to helping members improve their financial well-being.
Modeled after America’s Credit Unions’ Certified Financial Counselor Schools, each participant who successfully completes the proctored exam is granted the Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor (CCUFC) designation and is ready to help members reach their financial goals.
The Enhanced FiCEP curriculum includes:
- A textbook to be read at the student’s pace prior to webinar viewing.
- Self-paced, pre-recorded modules with a recommended study schedule (New! Spanish translation available)
- Two guided study sessions ahead of the final exam
- Take-away tool kit including budget spreadsheets, spending plans, tracking methods, and more.
Online-proctored exam consisting of 100 questions at the conclusion of the program.
