The Leadership Development Institute (LDI) empowers current and rising credit union leaders with modern strategies to develop leadership and critical thinking skills. Students enrolled in the one-year program gain new insight, abilities, and strategies to integrate within their credit unions. Graduating its first cohort in 2016, LDI delivers a new class of dynamic and effective leaders ready to continue and enhance the missions of their credit unions.

LDI classes will take place at the Paul J. Rizzo Conference Center. The facility is set in a 28-acre, wooded environment located less than 20 minutes from Raleigh-Durham International Airport (RDU) and one mile from the main UNC Chapel Hill campus. Designed exclusively for adult learning, the retreat-like setting underscores UNC’s commitment to delivering quality executive education programs to support meaningful reflection and lasting learning.
Rizzo meeting rooms that will house LDI classes will be identified and shared with students prior to their arrival.
