Allie Yearby is the professional development coordinator at the Carolinas Credit Union League, where she focuses on enhancing and expanding professional development initiatives for League member credit unions. Since 2015, Allie has been committed to the credit union industry, working closely with key constituencies to foster relationships and promote a strong culture of learning and professional growth within the credit unions of the Carolinas.
An active member of the Upstate Chapter of Credit Unions and the CUxEL Council, Allie’s passion for the credit union movement, particularly in young professional development, is evident in her work. As a former CUxEL Protégé competitor, she brings firsthand experience and enthusiasm to her role.
Allie takes pride in advocating for the success of others, a reflection of her own journey as an “emerging leader,” wife, and mother. Growing up as an exclusive credit union member, she was well acquainted with the principles and philosophy of the credit union movement. Now, through her work at the League, she continues to promote the movement, strengthen relationships with credit unions, and provide valuable development opportunities for the young and emerging leaders in the Carolinas.
One of the highlights of Allie’s career is her role in rebranding and building upon the former CUaware Council, now CUxEL, to support the next generation of credit union leaders. She believes that professional success is built on positively impacting others’ lives and careers, being a team player, and continually advocating for growth and development.
Allie values work-life balance, authenticity, and hard work – striving to find success that fits her lifestyle. She is passionate about building up emerging leaders and understands that transformation is achieved with a supportive tribe in one’s corner.
