Allison McClellan

Allison McClellan serves as a compliance analyst at Carolinas Credit Union League where she provides vital support to credit unions in various compliance-related aspects, undertakes risk-specific projects, and plays a central role in managing the League’s compliance management solution – AffirmX.

To Allison, her role is a rewarding challenge. Her diverse background, encompassing previous work in a financial institution and her paralegal experience, equips her with a unique skill set to excel in her current position.

Allison’s decision to join the League was rooted in her desire to contribute to the industry’s ethos of “people helping people.” Her background in psychology, driven by a passion for helping others, found a perfect avenue in the credit union movement.
Allison graduated with a degree in Psychology in 2005 and earned a paralegal certificate in 2011. She gained experience in a hospital legal department and a law firm before joining the League in 2015. Allison is a registered paralegal and a member of the National Federation of Paralegal Associations and Palmetto Paralegal Association. One of the highlights of her career includes obtaining her paralegal certification, showcasing her determination and commitment to her profession.

Allison’s core values of integrity, dependability, and adaptability are the pillars of her success. These values not only guide her in her career but also define her character.

Beyond her professional life, Allison is deeply passionate about animal welfare and rescue efforts. Her interest in helping animals has been a consistent theme in her life, demonstrating her commitment to making a difference. In her leisure time, Allison enjoys reading, horseback riding, and traveling. These hobbies offer her a well-deserved break and an opportunity to explore her interests outside of her professional commitments.
