Allison McClellan

Allison McClellan serves as compliance analyst and small credit union liaison at the Carolinas Credit Union League. In her compliance role, she supports credit unions of all sizes by providing timely guidance on federal and state regulatory requirements, managing key third-party solutions, and helping members navigate complex compliance challenges.

As small credit union liaison, Allison offers dedicated support to leaders of smaller credit unions, fostering strong relationships through regular communication, meetings, and personalized assistance. Her goal is to ensure every credit union—no matter its size—has access to the tools and expertise needed to thrive in today’s evolving landscape.

Allison joined the League in 2015, bringing experience from both the financial and legal sectors, including prior work as a paralegal. She holds a degree in Psychology and a paralegal certificate and is a registered paralegal and active member of the National Federation of Paralegal Associations and the Palmetto Paralegal Association.

Guided by her values of integrity, dependability, and adaptability, Allison is known for her steady commitment to the credit union movement’s philosophy of “people helping people.” Outside of work, she is passionate about animal welfare and enjoys reading, horseback riding, and traveling.
