Biddieya Smith

Biddieya brings more than 15 years of accounting expertise to her role as senior corporate accounting manager for the Carolinas Credit Union League and its affiliates. She is responsible for financial reporting, accounts receivable and payable, general ledger management, payroll, and audits, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the league’s financial operations.

For Biddieya, her role is about more than numbers; it’s about supporting an organization that strengthens credit unions and their communities. She values the league’s mission and the collaborative environment that allows her to contribute to its financial health and sustainability.

Her passion for organization and problem-solving extends beyond her professional life. She holds a Master of Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Southern Wesleyan University, equipping her with a strategic mindset and analytical skills that drive her success.

She is a South Carolina notary public and holds a Six Sigma Green Belt certification, reflecting her dedication to continuous improvement and efficiency. Biddieya also has an Associate in Applied Science in accounting from Midlands Technical College and, as of 2025, is working toward a Master of Accounting at Keiser University. In her free time, she enjoys reading, arts and crafts, and cooking.
