Jeanne Couchois

Among other responsibilities under this role, Jeanne is responsible for creating the vision for the League’s Risk Management Resources Department. Jeanne assists in minimizing risk profiles for organizations through compliance and regulatory governance. She also facilitates training and consultations for credit union staff and boards.

Jeanne is a North Carolina-licensed attorney with more than 30 years in the credit union industry. Prior to joining the CCUL, she worked in various roles for the State Employees’ Credit Union, most recently as vice president of compliance and BSA officer.

Jeanne is a graduate of the Campbell University School of Law and brings with her a passion for helping credit unions interpret and overcome complex regulatory issues. She has also earned the Certified Credit Union Risk Professional through the Association of Credit Union Audit and Risk Professionals (ACUARP).
